O‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍bjective To provide accounting educators the opportunity to share their experiences from online pandemic teaching and discuss how this experience can be used to improve accounting education going forward. Symposium ‘The Covid-19 Online Experience: Lessons for the Future’ Symposium, hosted by Ontario Tech University (OTU) in collaboration with Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPAO), was held on Thursday, October 7th 2021 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm EST, and was purposed with igniting discussion on lessons we learned from our v‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍irtual teaching experience to improve education. The symposium served as a medium for faculty to discuss and share knowledge, so that they could leave the event feeling informed and better equipped for what the future brings. Topics discussed ranged from hybrid curriculum delivery to increasing student engagement, and so on. Ultimately, this research paper should have multiple academic references and focus on how the Covid-19 online learning environment has revolutionized the way the accounting curriculum is taught in Ontario (and Canada as a wh‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ole).
